Sir Rudolph Agnew was Group Chief Executive and Chairman of Consolidated Gold Fields, the second largest gold producer in the Western world in the 1980s. He was also a Director of Anglo American, Gold Fields of South Africa and Newmont Mining.

 

 

Sir Rudolph Agnew is the Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees and a member of the Audit and Sustainability Committees.

Mr Hill-Wood has been Chairman of Arsenal Football Club since 1982 and was formally Vice-Chairman of Hambros Bank and Chairman of its Investment Division. He is currently on the Board of Advisors of a Russian technology LP. Mr Hill-Wood joined the Board in 2003.

 

Mr Hill-Wood is Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration, Nomination and Sustainability Committees.

 

General the Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank GCB LVO OBE DL was appointed to the Board in January 2008. He is also a Director of NM Rothschild & Sons Limited, Colt Defence LLC (USA), Sciens International Fund of Hedge Funds and an independent member of the House of Lords. In addition he is Visiting Professor and Honorary Fellow of King’s College London University; and a Board member of the Moscow School of Policy Studies. He is currently Colonel of the Life Guards and Colonel Commandant of the SAS.

 

Lord Guthrie is Chairman of the Risk Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Mr Hambro trained in resource finance at NM Rothschild & Sons, based both in London and the US and then moved to the investment banking division of HSBC as a Manager of Metals and Mining coporate finance before joining the Group full time in early 2002.  In 2006 Jay Hambro gave up his executive duties with Peter Hambro Mining Plc in order to become Chief Executive of Aricom plc but remains a Non-Executive Director of Peter Hambro Mining Plc.

Mr Leatham originally trained with Spicer and Pegler as a Chartered Accountant. He set up his own general accountancy practice in 1985 from which he recently retired.  He has worked for the Group since its inception. 

 

 Mr Leatham is the Chairman of  the Sustainability Committee and is a member of the Audit and Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
